I had a lovely time here, especially enjoying a beautiful evening on the sun terrace with a nice drink and then unwinding in the cozy tv lounge. The scenery was a treat, as I was lucky enough to catch sight of deer roaming nearby! Just a heads up, the bar closed a bit early, so grab your drinks in advance if you're planning to stay up late. 🍹

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free parking, 24-hour reception, and comfortable rooms. The staff once helped me find a place with a good exchange rate and were always friendly. I recommend trying the breakfast. I'm coming back for Christmas!

A lack of clear signs in the car park made finding the entrance confusing!!! The carpets in the room seemed a bit shabby and outdated, diminishing the overall experience!!!

The bathroom, while functional, felt a touch cramped, which might not suit those looking for more spacious accommodations. the restaurant offered meals that leaned towards the overpriced side without living up to the expectation of quality—dishes appeared generous but lacked the flavor they promised. The setup can feel a bit dated, similar to a classic roadside stop, which might surprise guests expecting a more modern hotel experience.

Our stay at Honest Lawyer was lovely, with a comfortable double room and easy access for our dog. The staff provided friendly service, making our visit enjoyable. the location felt a bit remote for our liking. a great experience that I’d recommend to outdoor-loving families.

Ideal stop for travelers

Checked in quick and all was very friendly like. The dinner was amazing, I mean, they treated us like royalty, and the staff were genuinely happy to serve us. It felt nice, it's rare, you know? Had a lovely selection for breakfast too, even got my bacon crispy as I like it, almost burnt haha.

Not exactly cheap, but worth every penny.

Friendly staff, convenient parking, nice meals, and I appreciated having complimentary water in the room and the easy access to public transport with the bus stop right outside the hotel for getting into town.

only complaints were that room was a bit cold n the heating seemed slow to warm up. also, noticed walls are kinda thin, could hear neighbors.

The double room was clean and comfy with nice amenities like a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and free toiletries. Showers were great. hot water was consistent. Found the staff really friendly. Had a lovely view of a field where we spotted barn owls and deer. Good parking available right outside our room.

i had a wonderful stay at the hotel, which exceeded my expectations from my previous visit to durham. the spacious double room was clean and comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my long stay without any issues. the friendly staff were always helpful, and the breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options.
